Send answers to n8n

n8n can start a workflow for every response. It works on every n8n plan, including n8n you host yourself in the EU.

Set it up

1. In n8n, start a workflow with a Webhook node. Set HTTP Method to POST.
2. Copy its Production URL. (The Test URL only works while n8n is listening in the editor.)
3. In Agent002, open your form, go to Destinations → Webhook, paste the address and choose Add.
4. Activate the workflow in n8n, then use Send a test in Agent002. The execution appears in n8n.

Use the answers

• Each answer is at {{ $json.body.submission.answers.your_key }}, by question key.
• $json.body.fields lists every question with its label and a readable text: handy for an email or a Slack message.
• Tests have event set to submission.test. Add an If node to skip them if you like.

Check it came from Agent002 (recommended)

In the Webhook node, turn on Raw Body. Then compute an HMAC-SHA256 (Crypto node) of the X-Agent002-Timestamp header, a dot and the raw body, with your signing secret as the key, and compare it with the X-Agent002-Signature header (after sha256=). Details and code are in the webhooks guide.

Return a 2xx answer quickly (the default Immediately response is fine). If n8n is down, Agent002 retries for about 15 hours.
